The 1400 °C grade of the same plastically moulded insulating series: 39% alumina, 1.0 g/cc, 63% apparent porosity, 35 kg/cm² cold crushing strength and thermal conductivity of 0.30 kcal/m/hr/°C at 500 °C. It buys 300 °C over the INS 110 for a marginal conductivity penalty.
