WHYTHEAT C SPECIAL
58–62% alumina rated to 1600 °C at 9.5–10.5% water, 2.30 g/cc dried. It holds 650 kg/cm² after firing at 1550 °C — considerably more hot-side strength than the Whytheat K at the same alumina and the same service temperature, which is the reason to choose between them.
