FIRECRETE SUPER

70% alumina conventional castable rated to 1450 °C, at 10–11% casting water and 2.55 g/cc dried density, reaching 380 kg/cm² after drying and 430 kg/cm² after firing at 1550 °C. Note the temperature rating: the alumina jump over the Firecrete Normal buys chemical resistance and hot strength rather than a large increase in service temperature.
