The lightest insulating castable in the range: 0.64 g/cc dried, thermal conductivity 0.12 kcal/m/hr/°C at 800 °C hot face, rated to 1000 °C. Cold crushing strength is 5.2 kg/cm², so it insulates and does nothing else. Iron oxide is 10.5% — ask us before specifying it into a reducing, CO-rich duty.
