ACCMON 45

A 46.5% alumina low-cement castable rated to 1550 °C, vibration cast at 5.7–6.2% water with lime held to 1.8%. Cold crushing strength runs 640 kg/cm² after drying, 870 at 1100 °C and 1010 after firing at 1500 °C — strength that rises with temperature rather than dipping. 25 kg bags.
